Health & Safety Farm Map Board

Your farm's hazards, no-go zones and assembly points on one printed board — the map you point contractors and visitors at before they head out.

THE PRODUCT

The Health & Safety Board

WorkSafe expects every farm to manage the risks to workers, contractors and visitors — and NZFAP requires a health and safety plan for certification. The practical, visible way to cover both is a hazard map on the wall. This is your farm printed as a health and safety board: hazards marked where they actually are, no-go zones you can’t miss, assembly points, and the emergency information anyone on the place might need — all drawn clean and accurate on a proper map of your farm, and hung where people actually walk past it. The woolshed, the office, the workshop wall. Before we build it, we work out with you what the board’s actually for — induction, compliance, emergency response — and what needs to be on it.

Day to day, it does the induction for you. A contractor or a new worker turns up and you stand them in front of the board before they head out: here’s where you’re working, there’s the overhead line, that gully is a no-go on the bike, and this is where we meet if something goes wrong. Two minutes at the wall and everyone’s had the same briefing. And when anyone asks what your health and safety system looks like — a farm assurance auditor, WorkSafe, or the family solicitor — you’re not digging through a drawer. It’s on the wall, it’s current, and it’s plainly being used.
